What we process
SaveThisIG only processes the Instagram link you paste. The link is sent to our backend, which passes it to a server-side extraction provider to look up publicly accessible media. We never ask for, collect, or store Instagram passwords or login credentials.
Media handled server-side
Downloads are streamed through our servers so that we can verify and proxy only media from Instagram's allowed content hosts. We do not store downloaded media permanently.
Logging
Our servers log limited, technical information needed to operate and debug the service: request type, detected content type, which provider served the request, provider success or failure, response duration, and the error category. Links are logged in normalized form. We do not log cookies, download tokens, API keys, or other secrets. Logs are not exposed to other users.
Cookies
SaveThisIG does not set third-party advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. This website itself may use functional storage for normal browser operation.
